Services · Assessments

The plan starts with truly knowing your child.

Every Kindaya program begins with a thorough, BCBA-conducted assessment — because a treatment plan is only as good as the understanding it's built on.

What an assessment involves

Your BCBA spends real time with your child and your family — observing, playing, listening, and using structured assessment tools to understand your child's current skills across communication, social interaction, daily living, play, and learning readiness.

Just as important: we listen to you. What are mornings like? What does your child love? What's hardest right now? What would meaningful change look like for your family? Those answers shape the plan as much as any formal measure does.

What to expect
  • Conducted personally by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • A mix of direct observation, structured tools, and caregiver interview
  • Done in your home, where your child is comfortable
  • Results explained in plain language — no jargon walls
  • A written plan with specific, measurable goals your family helps set

After the assessment

You'll receive a treatment plan you can actually read — what we'll work on, why it matters, how many hours are recommended, and how progress will be measured. We review it with you before anything is submitted to insurance, and nothing starts until you understand and agree with the plan.
