For referring providers

A referral partner that closes the loop.

Pediatricians, diagnosticians, and clinicians: when you refer a family to Kindaya, they get contacted promptly, treated respectfully, and kept moving — and you hear back about what happened.

What your patients can expect

Every Kindaya program is designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, delivered in the home, and built on a thorough functional assessment. Care is individualized, data-driven, and assent-focused, with caregiver training integrated into every treatment plan.

We know a referral is a transfer of trust. Families who reach us get a prompt response, plain-language guidance through benefits verification and authorization, and a clear picture of timelines — including honest answers about capacity and fit.

How to refer

Three ways to send a family our way.

By phone

Call us directly

(916) 461-5285 — ask about capacity, fit, and our referral process. If you reach voicemail, leave only your name, practice, callback number, and reason for calling; do not leave patient information.

By email

Request a referral conversation

intake@kindayaaba.com — use ordinary email only to start the conversation. Do not include a patient's or family's name or contact information, diagnosis, insurance information, or records. We'll arrange an appropriate way to transmit referral details.

Family-initiated

Point them to us

Give the family our number or this website. Tell them to mention your practice — we'll keep you informed of intake status with appropriate consent.

What we send back

With family consent, referring providers receive confirmation of intake, notification when services begin, and periodic progress summaries — so the referral doesn't disappear into a void. If we can't serve a family (capacity, coverage, or fit), we say so quickly and help them find alternatives.

Let's talk before you need us.

We're glad to meet with your practice, walk through our clinical model, and answer questions — so that when a family needs a referral, you know exactly who you're sending them to.
