You may browse the public Kindaya ABA website without creating an account. The public site does not currently use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Information you choose to provide
If you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to share. Ordinary email is not a secure channel for diagnoses, medical records, insurance information, or other sensitive health details. Please contact us first so we can arrange an appropriate way to exchange records.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. We use this information to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website.
Private company areas
Kindaya Hub and Kindaya OS use account and session information to authenticate approved company users. Those areas are for company resources and development tools only. They are not patient portals and must not be used to store client records or protected health information unless Kindaya formally approves a compliant system for that purpose.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to services operated by others, including the Kindaya Academy learning platform. Their privacy practices apply when you use their sites. Fonts and other necessary website resources may also be delivered by service providers that receive ordinary connection information.

This notice describes how health information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can access it.
This notice applies to protected health information maintained by Kindaya ABA LLC. Please review it carefully.
Your rights
When it comes to your health information, you have important rights. We will help you exercise them.
Get a copy of your record
You may ask to inspect or receive an electronic or paper copy of health information we maintain about you or your child when you are the authorized personal representative. We generally respond within the time required by law and may charge a reasonable, cost-based fee where permitted.
Ask us to correct information
You may ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete. We may deny a request when permitted by law, but we will explain the reason in writing.
Request confidential communications
You may ask us to contact you in a particular way or at a particular address. We will accommodate reasonable requests.
Ask us to limit use or sharing
You may ask us not to use or disclose certain information for treatment, payment, or operations. We are not always required to agree. If you pay in full out of pocket for a service, you may ask us not to disclose information about that service to your health plan for payment or health care operations unless the law requires it.
Receive an accounting of disclosures
You may ask for a list of certain disclosures made during the six years before your request. The list will not include every disclosure, such as many made for treatment, payment, or health care operations.
Choose someone to act for you
A person with legal authority—such as a parent, guardian, or medical power of attorney—may exercise rights for the individual they represent. We verify that authority before acting.
Your choices
In certain situations, you may direct whether we share information—for example, with family, close friends, or others involved in care or payment, or during disaster relief. If you cannot express a preference, we may share information when we reasonably believe it is in your best interest or necessary to prevent a serious and imminent threat.
We will obtain written authorization before using protected health information for most marketing, selling protected health information, or most uses of psychotherapy notes. Kindaya does not currently use protected health information for fundraising.
How we may use and disclose health information
Treatment
We may use and share information with professionals involved in care, coordination, consultation, or supervision.
Health care operations
We may use information to operate the practice, improve services and quality, train staff, perform compliance activities, and contact you when necessary.
Payment
We may use and share information to bill for services, verify benefits, request authorization, and receive payment from health plans or other responsible parties.
Other uses permitted or required by law
Subject to applicable safeguards and legal conditions, we may use or disclose information for public health and safety, health oversight, research, organ and tissue donation, workers’ compensation, law enforcement or government functions, medical examiners or funeral directors, judicial or administrative proceedings, and other purposes required by law.
We follow applicable California laws when they provide greater privacy protection. Certain records may require additional authorization before disclosure.
To the extent we receive substance-use-disorder patient records protected by 42 CFR Part 2, we will not use or disclose those records in civil, criminal, administrative, or legislative proceedings against an individual without written consent or a qualifying court order and subpoena.
Our responsibilities
- We are required by law to maintain the privacy and security of protected health information.
- We will notify affected individuals as required if a breach may have compromised the privacy or security of their information.
- We must follow the duties and privacy practices described in the current notice.
- We will not use or disclose information outside the ways described here unless you authorize us in writing, and you may revoke that authorization in writing where permitted.
Changes to this notice
We may change this notice and apply the revised terms to information we already maintain and information received in the future. The current version will be available on this website and upon request.

Kindaya ABA will not retaliate against anyone for filing a privacy complaint or exercising a privacy right.
